  • The Pastry Project 165 South Main Street Seattle, WA 98104 United States (map)

Join Mocel x Lokokitchen on 02/10 at 6:30pm at The Pastry Project for an interactive mezcal and pie tasting experience.

Rosalinda Mendoza, Co-founder of Mocel, will guide you through an engaging mezcal tasting featuring two small-batch mezcals from Michoacán, Mexico, where her family is from. Enjoy these artisanal mezcals paired with a Tomatillo Short Rib pie and a Butternut Squash Mac n Cheese pie prepared by Lauren Ko of Lokokitchen from her best-selling cookbook, Pieometry*. Lauren will also share some signature design techniques you can use to impress your family this holiday season. Guests will have the opportunity to create their own ready-to-eat mini tart masterpiece to take home.

This will be an immersive tasting experience where you learn about drinking mezcal, different agave expressions plus quick tips on pie and tart art. You will leave with great mezcal + pie ideas to host your family and friends over the holiday season!
